I MIGHT be a little obsessed with FB Messenger…when I saw that their Customer Chat Website Plugin was officially open to everyone today, I couldn’t sleep until I had it installed and running! It’s now 2am. YAWN*
Alright, would you like to know what it is and how to install it on YOUR website? Ok, here we go!
WHAT is it?
Simply put, when customers or potential customers come to your website, they’ll see an option to chat with you down in the lower right hand corner of the screen. This will be REAL-TIME chat with your Facebook Business Page.
Why is it important?
It’s wonderful because conversations that are started there are technically being started with your Facebook Business Page simultaneously. Customers can transition back and forth seamlessly without losing the conversation’s history and context. Sales inquiries, lead magnet delivery, customer service…you think it, you can create it.
